Less than one year after its establishment, the shareholders decided to change the company's name, from Molesey Leasing Group to Ţiriac Leasing, thereby emphasizing the fact that it was part of the Group.

Whereas initially the company’s financing activity was merely auxiliary to the automotive trade, it later developed into a business in its own right. Thus, although by the end of 2003, the majority of the financing operations mostly concerned vehicles belonging to the Automotive Division of the Ţiriac Group, from 2004 Ţiriac Leasing adopted a diversification policy of the financing operations, also including in its portfolio non-imported brands or other brands sold by the group.

The evolution of Ţiriac Leasing continued on an upward trajectory and during the last few years it further asserted its presence in the top rankings of the companies in the field. It is also worth mentioning that Ţiriac Leasing is the only independent leasing company included in the top ten of the Banking Leasing Association.

The permanent growth of the activity in terms of volume has also naturally led to the development of a territorial network and currently Ţiriac Leasing has work points in all the cities where ŢiriacAuto has developed its own dealers' network.

Ţiriac Leasing mainly provides financing for the entire range of motor vehicles, from motorcars to commercial fleets, a segment that holds over 80% of the company’s portfolio, the rest being represented by financing different equipments.

The company’s client portfolio is made up of private companies, multinational companies, public sector, but also includes freelancers and individuals.

Aiming to diversify its financing services according to various clients’ demands in 2003 it was decided to set up an independent operating lease company, also part of the Ţiriac Group: Premium Leasing.
